You might hear this spring that in Mokraya Olkhovka village of the Volgograd region there were found strange spherical objects and the first version sounded that they found petrified eggs of a dinosaur!

We got a chance to look closer at the interesting finding…

They are approximately of the same size – about one meter in the diameter and in the height as well. They consist of silicon, sand and metal so there's no any connection to dinosaurs … Besides, we may see corrosion on some of them.

It's not a bad idea but it doesn't explain why these objects have the same spherical shape and are located so close to each other.

8. Your work sucks. It's super lame. You are a moron and I hope you never reproduce.Problem: I've actually gotten this comment before. It feels wonderful. However, let's look at it not from the perspective of the person receiving this kind of comment but from the perspective of the person giving it. How does saying something negative like this help you? I guess it might feel good to vent if you feel like your time has been wasted. But really, how much of your time has been wasted? A few minutes? And whose fault is that? The bloggers or yours? In truth, making negative comments just keeps you in a negative mindset. It's also not a good way to make friends.Solution: Learn to offer constructive solutions, first of all. Instead of telling someone their blog sucks, or that a post is lame, offer some specific suggestions for improvement. Help them get better. If you are going to take the time to make a comment, make it worth your time. Second, learn to interact with people in a more positive way — it makes others feel good and it makes you feel better about yourself. And you can make some great friends this way. That's a good thing.
9. Insulting People Back

Problem: If someone insults you or angers you in some way, insulting them back and continuing your anger only transfers their problem to you. This person was probably having a bad day (or a bad year) and took it out on you for some reason. If you reciprocate, you are now having a bad day too. His problem has become yours. Not only that, but the cycle of insults can get worse and worse until it results in violence or other negative consequences — for both of you.Solution: Let the insults or negative comments of others slide off you like Teflon. Technicians at melaka baru car repair shops were having a normal day at
work, when suddenly a nervous looking LION came out of no where...seemingly
hungry because of how skinny his body looks

Workers freaked out, jumping over each other, some locking themselves up in
cars, some in the offices, and some just ran away...but one brave guy took
the picture of this Lion without making a sound....and there was the SHOCK
when the Lion turned around...nobody could believe it....

Recently, I interviewed some fresh graduates applying for jobs with myengineering company. I accepted two applicants on a starting salary of RM1600. It struck me as odd that 15 years ago, I myself started workas a fresh graduate engineer for the same pay.Indeed, if you compare the salaries of graduates now and 15 or even 20 years ago, you'll find little difference but that their purchasing power is vastly different. It's the same story when you comparesalaries of shop assistants, office staff, factory workers and others.To compound the effect of inflation, the ringgit has depreciated greatly against all major currencies. The real income of mostMalaysians has moved backwards.This is why many Malaysians suffer under the petrol hike. The root of the problem is that our real incomes have shrunk in the face of
inflation and depreciated currency.. Malaysians have not been spoiled by subsidy but are unable to move out of the time lock of stagnated and depreciated incomes.If you compare the per capita incomes of Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea, they are a few multiples of ours although atindependence all these countries were the on the same economic level as Malaysia.

What has gone wrong? We were the rising star of East Asia, a country rich in natural resources with the most promising potential.The reason is massive corruption, plundering of resources, wastage offunds for huge non- economic projects, anti-public interest deals with politically-linked companies and passing-of-the -buck to the man in the street..

Four decades of NEP where education, economic and employment policies are defined by race ensured that meritocracy took a back seat.

Our university standard has declined and the today best and brightest of our youth emigrate to escape the racial inequality only to contribute to the economies of foreign lands.

The reputation of our judiciary which was held in high esteemworldwide has sunk so low that foreign investors now insist on arbitration in Singapore in case of any dispute.

We also have a slew of oppressive laws such as the ISA, OSA, Uuca and PPPA which stifle free speech and are designed to keep the ruling parties in power.

We have become less attractive to foreign investors and now lag behindour neighbours in Asean for foreign direct investment. Even somecorporations who have established themselves
here are moving out.

All the economic and social malaise cannot help but affect the valueof our currency. The strength of a country's currency is after all, areflection of its fundamentals.

Furthermore, Bank Negara has a policy of weak ringgit to help exporters, never mind the burden on the common folk. The government ispro-corporation, not pro-rakyat.While the poor and middle-class are squeezed, an elite group gets breathtakingly rich. We have the distinction of having the worse income disparity in Asean. A re-distribution of wealth is under way from the poor and middle-class to a select group ofpolitically-connected elite.The end result of this re-distribution
will be a small group ofsuper-rich while the majority are pushed into poverty and themiddle-class shrinks. This is what happens when the rich gets richer
and the poor get poorer.

There is much that is wrong with Malaysia. The responsibility forpulling the country backwards can be laid squarely at the door of theruling regime. It is BN's mis-governance, racial politics and culture
of patronage which has seen the country regress economically and socially.We seem to be sliding down a slippery slope, further down with eachpassing year of BN's rule. Another five years of BN rule and we'll beat Indonesia's standard under Suharto. Another 10
years and we'll betouching the African standard. What a way to greet 2020.

Is there any hope for Malaysia?Faced with the Reality that BN will never change, many Malaysians
desperate for change turn their lonely eyes to Anwar Ibrahim.Pakatan Raykat has promised to treat
all races fairly, to plugwastage, fight corruption, reform the judiciary and
make Malaysia morecompetitive.

But some have questioned whether we can trust Anwar and his loosecoalition of disparate parties..
The question is not whether we can trust Anwar and Pakatan Rakyat but whether we can afford not to.Can we afford another ten years of BN's misrule?

eading the first reports about the accusations against Malaysia's
opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim, I had to check the date at the top of
the page. Has there been a time-slip? Is this file 10 years old? For
Anwar to be accused of sodomy again, 10 years after he last challenged
the position of Malaysia's prime minister and ended up in jail for
sodomy (a crime in Malaysia), stretches the notion of coincidence to
the breaking point.

Ten years ago the prime minister
was Mahathir Mohamad, the long-ruling autocratic leader who had made
Anwar his deputy prime minister. The two men fell out over economic
policy and Anwar's too-obvious ambition, so he was charged with
corruption and, for good measure, with sodomy. His credibility had to
be destroyed, and so a former employee was persuaded to lay a complaint
against him.

Anwar is a married man with six children.
That does not mean that he could not be guilty of homosexual rape, but
there were many questionable elements of the case, including the fact
that he was beaten almost to death by the national chief of police in
person after he was arrested. Nevertheless, Anwar was convicted and
sent to prison. His political career seemed over.

Mahathir
finally retired at the age of 78 in 2003, and the courts overturned
Anwar's conviction for sodomy the following year. He was freed from
jail, but because the corruption conviction was not also quashed, he
was still banned from running for office for five more years. The
opposition coalition had come to see him as a leader, however, and his
wife, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, became the head of the opposition in
parliament.

Then, early this year, Malaysian politics
went into overdrive. In the March election, the ruling National Front
lost the two-thirds majority in the national parliament it had held for
the past 40 years, emerging with a narrow majority that could easily
crumble if only a couple of dozen of its members defect to the
opposition. As they well might, given the way Malaysian politics is
played.

Both the ruling National Front and the opposition
alliance led by Anwar are coalitions of parties representing Malaysia's
three main ethnic groups, Malays, Chinese and Indians. To some extent
they are just the "ins" and the "outs" many leading members of the
opposition coalition, like Anwar himself, once belonged to the National
Front, but were disappointed in their ambitions but some of the
opposition parties also want to overthrow Malaysia's entire ethnic
settlement.

The dominant population in most of what is
now Malaysia is the Malays, a seafaring people who converted to Islam
in the 15th century. Under British rule, however, huge numbers of
Chinese and Indian workers were imported and their descendants now
account for 40 per cent of the country's 26 million people.

The
immigrants quickly came to dominate the economy, while the Malay
majority remained mostly rural, less well educated, and much poorer.
Malay resentment erupted into bloody race riots that almost tore the
new country apart in 1969 and so the New Economic Policy of 1970 gave
preference to Malays for government jobs and contracts, university
places, and business licenses.

Malaysia has prospered
greatly since then, but the National Front that was created to preserve
this deal was always in power, and the country was not really a full
democracy. Much time has passed, however, and last March's election
showed how much has changed. The new state government in Penang
cancelled the Malay preference rule as soon as it took power last
March, and in Kuala Lumpur last month Anwar Ibrahim claimed that 30
National Front members of parliament were ready to defect to his
coalition, which would give the opposition a majority in the national
parliament.

Moreover, the legal ban on Anwar's
participation in public life expired in April, and he was about to seek
a parliamentary seat in a byelection. He might have been prime minister
by September. It would have been a revolution in Malaysian politics.

Then
suddenly last week, a 23-year-old man who volunteered to work for the
opposition during the election earlier this year, and then became an
assistant to Anwar, accused him of sodomy. Anwar immediately took
refuge in the Turkish embassy, fearing that the next step would be
assassination.

Anwar left the embassy again after getting
a promise from Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi that he would not
be harmed, but he could be arrested at any time. The National Front
government, even if it did not set the whole thing up, certainly plans
to let it play out. When Badawi was asked what he thought about Anwar's
denials, he said it "was common for an accused person" to claim he was
innocent.

This is a very dangerous game. The blood and
fire of 1969 seem far away from the prosperity of modern Malaysia, but
it was the pro-Malay preferences of the 1970 deal that made it stable.
Now that deal has to be reshaped into something less unfair to the
minorities. Malaysia can do it the easy way, or the hard way. It may
choose the hard way.

The story about "subsidy"…

A man called Maha owns a farm which can produce 10 apples every day.
He has 5 workers to operate the farm.
Each of them eats 1 apple daily and it is enough to keep them operating the farm normally.
The remaining 4 apples, the landlord sells them at RM10 each and he earns RM40.
He uses the RM25 to improve the farm operation and facilities.
He gives RM2.00 to each of his workers and he keeps the remaining RM5.00 as profit.
Day by day, the farm is well developed and all of the 5 workers are happy with the money they can save.

When Maha passed away and there is a new landlord, Abdul comes to continue the farm operation.
He says to the workers:" We need to improve the farm quality and redefine our way of thinking.
>From now on all of you only need to pay RM1.00 for each apple you eat.
It is
very
cheap as the price is RM10 each outside the farm."
The workers have no choice but to pay RM1.00 for the apple they eat daily.
Their earning decrease from RM2.00 to RM1.00 per person.
As usual, Abdul sells the 4 apples and he gets RM40.
He uses RM25 for farm improvement and pays RM10 to his 5 workers.
He gets RM5.00 as profit. On top of that, he gets another RM5.00 from the apples that he sells to his workers.
In total, he gets RM10 as profit every day.

Soon, the apple price increases to RM20 each.
The new landlord gets a higher profit as he gets RM80 for the 4 apples he sells daily.
Then, he decides to give the farming improvement contract to one of his close friend, Samy.
Samy says:"Apple cost naik, improvement cost also misti naik."
So, the farm improvement cost increases from RM25 to RM50.
In actual, the improvement only cost RM30.
The remaining RM20, Abdul and Samy share evenly among
themselves.

Let's calculate how much Abdul gets daily:

RM10 (from farm improvement cost)
RM20 (Net profit by selling 4 apples: [Gross profit, RM80] - [Improvement cost, RM50] - [Wages RM10] = RM20)
RM5 (from selling apples to his workers)

In total, Abdul gets RM35 daily compare to RM10 initially when he takes over the farm from Maha.
His profit increases RM25 and the workers are still getting RM1.00 daily per person.
The greedy Abdul does not want to stop there.
One
day, he says to his fellow workers:" You see ah, the current market
price for one apple is RM20 and you are only paying RM1.
See how lucky you are! I have to SUBSIDY RM19.00 for each of the apple you buy and total I need to SUBSIDY RM95.00.
This will greatly burden the farm and we might get bankrupt if we continue like this.
In order to avoid bankruptcy, I need to increase the apple price that you buy from RM1.00 to RM1.50 and I will
bear the remaining RM18.50 per apple as my subsidy to you all. "
So, greedy Abdul adds RM2.50 to his current profit and the number becomes RM37.50.

word ALLAH both on patients and on normal persons. The Dutch professor

patients over a period of three years. Some of his patients were non-

Muslims, others do not speak Arabic and were trained to pronounce the

word 'ALLAH' clearly; the result was great, particularly on those who

suffer from dejection and tension. Al Watan, a Saudi daily reported

that the psychologist was quoted to say that Muslims who can read

Arabic and who read the Quran regularly could protect themselves from

psychological diseases.

The psychologist explained how each letter in the word 'ALLAH' affects

healing of psychological diseases. He pointed out in his research that

pronouncing the first letter in the word 'ALLAH' which is the letter

(A), released from the respiratory system, controls breathing. He

added that pronouncing the velar consonant (L) in the Arabic way, with

the tongue touching slightly the upper part of the jaw producing a

short pause and then repeating the same pause constantly, relaxes the

aspiration.

Perhaps 60% of oil prices today pure speculation

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley today are the two
leading energy trading firms in the United States. Citigroup and JP
Morgan Chase are major players and fund numerous hedge funds as well
who speculate.

In June 2006, oil traded in futures markets at some
$60 a barrel and the Senate investigation estimated that some $25 of
that was due to pure financial speculation. One analyst estimated in
August 2005 that US oil inventory levels suggested WTI crude prices
should be around $25 a barrel, and not $60.

That would mean today that at least $50 to $60 or
more of today’s $115 a barrel price is due to pure hedge fund and
financial institution speculation. However, given the unchanged
equilibrium in global oil supply and demand over recent months amid the
explosive rise in oil futures prices traded on Nymex and ICE exchanges
in New York and London it is more likely that as much as 60% of the
today oil price is pure speculation. No one knows officially except the
tiny handful of energy trading banks in New York and London and they
certainly aren’t talking.

By purchasing large numbers of futures contracts, and thereby pushing up futures

prices to even higher levels than current prices,
speculators have provided a financial incentive for oil companies to
buy even more oil and place it in storage. A refiner will purchase
extra oil today, even if it costs $115 per barrel, if the futures price
is even higher.

As a result, over the past two years crude oil
inventories have been steadily growing, resulting in US crude oil

What causes migraines?

Experts are not sure what causes migraines. It may have something to do with the blood vessels in your brain.

HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a retrovirus that attacks the immune system, disabling the body's natural protection against external infections. HIV only affects human beings and its presence can be detected through an HIV antibody test. HIV is highly concentrated in blood, semen and vaginal fluid but is present in very low concentrations in saliva and tears.. HIV is a very 'intelligent' virus. It can mutate and hide inside the human body, which makes it an almost invincible target. However, outside the human body, the virus is weak. HIV is the virus that causes AIDS.

What is AIDS?
AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. 'Acquired' means something that is

not inherited. 'Immune Deficiency' means a weakened immune system that is unable to resist oncoming diseases. 'Syndrome' means signs and symptoms of an illness.

AIDS is the condition whereby HIV has destroyed a person's immune system, such that it is unable to defend the body from opportunistic diseases. Examples of common opportunistic infections in a person who has developed AIDS are Kaposi's Sarcoma, Pneumocystis Carinii Pneumonia (PCP) and Tuberculosis.

How does HIV break down the immune system?
The mechanism that protects the human body from bacterial or viral infections is known as the immune system. The immune system functions via white blood cells, which identify, attack, and destroy infections and cancerous cells. CD4 cells are a type of white blood cell.

Upon entering the human body, HIV will attack CD4 cells and destroy them. The viruses then use infected CD4 cells to produce more HIV viruses. These new viruses invade other CD4 cells, causing the body's immune system to slowly deteriorate. As a result, the body's immune system is weakened and cannot fight against oncoming infections.

You don't know who has HIV
Anyone can be infected with HIV. It is not who you are, but more so what you do that puts you at risk of an HIV infection. HIV carriers may look and feel healthy but at the same time, they are able to transmit the virus to others. It is not possible to identify an HIV-positive person based on how they look on the outside. Prevention is, by far, still the best method for avoiding HIV infection.

CD4 cells and viral load
CD4 cells are a type of white blood cell that helps the body fight against infections. Viral load is the quantity of HIV contained within 1 milliliter of blood. The viral load should be zero in the blood of a person without HIV. Post infection, the CD4 count goes down and viral load increases.

Is there a cure?
AIDS cannot be cured. There are ongoing research projects to find a vaccine that could prevent HIV infection. Once you are infected with HIV, you will stay infected for the rest of your life.

There is a range of medications known as antiretroviral drugs that suppresses the virus's ability to replicate itself. As a result, there are less chances of HIV infecting other CD4 cells. These drugs, however, are not a cure for AIDS.

How is HIV transmitted?
There are 3 main modes of HIV transmission:
Unprotected, penetrative sex with an infected person
Exchange of infected blood, for example sharing infected needles and syringes, blood transfusion or organ transplant
Mother to child transmission (vertical transmission) during pregnancy, delivery or breastfeeding, which presents a 30 percent risk but can be lowered to less than 10 percent with the use of a medication called AZT

ONE-NIGHT stands may be just flings for some working women but “doing it for fun” has left many of them infected with HIV, reported Berita Minggu.

It used to be that HIV-infected women were mainly housewives, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican told the paper.

Lately, however, the disease has hit more and more professional women, including doctors, accountants, lawyers and teachers.

Dr Ismail said that many of them thought one-night stands would not cause any problem.

According to statistics provided by the ministry’s Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS Unit, the number of women infected with HIV had increased by about 250% since 1996.

Last year saw 976 deaths from AIDS, of which 80 were women.

GEMAS: Having paid out subsidies close to RM50bil in the last 10 years for gas and with global oil prices hitting US$80 (RM280) per barrel last week, Petronas is now pushing for an increase in gas charges.
If the Government gives Petronas the green light to raise rates, consumers would have to brace themselves for higher costs since gas is required for generating electricity, industrial/household use and for NGV-powered automobiles.

A Cabinet committee chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will decide on Petronas’ proposal next Monday, said Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik.
Lim, however, assured the people that despite the heavy reliance by Tenaga Nasional Bhd and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) on gas, there would be no increase in electricity tariffs.
“We just increased power tariffs in June last year. Although the pressure to increase tariffs is getting greater, there will not be another increase any time soon,” he said.
The minister said Petronas had provided gas subsidies close to RM50bil since 1997, and last year alone, it paid out RM14bil in subsidy.
“Petronas is screaming for an increase.”
He said that for example, Petronas sold subsidised gas at RM6.40 per mmBtu (Million British Thermal Units) to local industries, whereas unsubsidised gas cost about RM40 per mmBtu.
He explained that if the gas was sourced locally, Petronas would be able to absorb the costs.
However, its gas fields in Terengganu could not meet the demand in the peninsula. As such, Petronas was forced to pay three times more to import the gas from Indonesia and Thailand.
Lim said when the Cabinet committee would decide on Monday the next gas policy as well as gas prices for TNB and IPPs.
“This is necessary as 60% of the country’s electricity is generated by gas,” he told pressmen after opening Heaveaboard Bhd’s second particleboard line here yesterday. The minister was asked to comment on the escalating global oil prices.
Lim said the people should understand Petronas’ position and not criticise it for asking an increase.
“Petronas’ books are there for them to see. How can they continue to subsidise the prices for the imported gas? It is beyond them. We cannot control global prices, it is not our doing,” he said.
He said that if the subsidies were not removed, the Malaysian economy would remain “distorted”.
“We are doing a disservice to our grandchildren. We are spending so much on the subsidies at the expense of our future generation,” he said.

Fasting - Key to Good Health

Fasting has its advantages from the point of view of health and hygiene. Islam wants a Muslim to be healthy, clean, alert, agile and energetic.

"Fast to be healthy," had said the Prophet (s.a.w.). And physicians today acknowledge the many benefits of fasting that ensure health and the soundness of one's body and mind. Some of these positive points have a direct influence on psychology and physique of the fasting individual.

Fasting has been found to be an effective treatment for psychological and emotional disorders. It helps a person to firm up his will, cultivate and refine his taste and manners, strengthen his conviction of doing good, avoid controversy, petulance and rashness, which all contribute towards a sane and healthy personality. Besides nurturing resistance and ability to face hardships and endurance, fasting reflects on outward physical appearance by cutting out gluttony and getting rid of excess fat.

The benefits of fasting on health do not stop there but are instrumental in alleviating a number of physical diseases, including those of the digestive systems, such as chronic stomachache, inflammation of the colon, liver diseases, indigestion, and conditions such as obesity, arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, asthma, diphtheria and many other maladies.

A Swiss physician Dr. Barsilus noted that: The advantages of hunger as a remedy exceed those ingesting medicine several times.

As readers are well aware, several physicians advise patients to skip meals, sometimes for a few days, before prescribing them a controlled diet.

Generally speaking, fasting hastens the destruction of the decaying tissues of the body by means of hunger, and then builds new tissues through nutrition. This is why some scientists suggest that fasting should be regarded as an effective means of restoring youthfulness and longevity. However, Islam exempts from fasting sick and old people whose health is bound to deter.

But fasting should have its regulations too, and not simply the inorderly skipping meals, that is bound to harm health and stamina, rather than improving them. Here again Islam provides the answer, and in order to realize the benefits of fasting, it recommends the late midnight meals called 'Sahar' (before the formal start of a fast) and the breaking of the fast at the time prescribed. Of course, to ensure good health one should abstain from gluttony after breaking fast.

The Glorious Month of Ramazan

The holy month of Ramazan enjoys a special importance in the Islamic calendar. As the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) said: "It is Allah's Own month." It is the chief of all months and the most glorious one. As we already know, 'Fasting' is one of the important pillars of Islam and it is the very month of Ramazan during which fasting has been made obligatory for all adults and sane Muslims. By fasting during Ramazan, a Muslim besides discharging an obligation imposed upon him by Allah, becomes entitled to great reward in the Hereafter. On the other hand, any lapse in the matter amounts to a great sin. Fasting is an article of worship, the knowledge about the performance or otherwise whereof rests only with Allah and the person concerned. Hence, it is Allah alone who will reward that person for it, on the Day of Judgement.

The blessings of Ramazan are not limited to fasting alone, because the performance of all sorts of worship and good deeds during this month, is also a source of great Divine favor. The revelation of the Holy Qur'an commenced during this very month and it is therefore the duty of every Muslim to read and try to understand the meaning of the Holy Qur'an and thereby gain an insight into the Divine secrets enshrined therein. It brings peace and illumination to the mind and imparts purity to the soul.

Ramazan is the month of fasting, intensive prayer, sacrifice and Divine worship. Throughout this month a devout Muslim fasts during the day in the true sense of the word, that is, he had merely denies himself food and water, but as explained by the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.), exercises strict control over his tongue, eyes, ears, thoughts and deeds and does everything possible to seek the pleasure of Allah.

Devout supplications to Allah and repentance of one's sins during Ramazan are the sources of Divine blessings and mercy. Some nights, among the last ten nights of Ramazan, are called the 'Nights of Glory' (Layalih-al-Qadr). These are the 19th, 21st, and 23rd nights. Muslims keep awake during these nights and offer special prayers. Even among these nights, the 23rd enjoys excellence over all the others. It is accompanied by great blessings, and the supplications made to Allah during this night are usually granted by Him.
The holy month of Ramazan, besides being the month of worship and Divine blessings, carries a historical importance as well. As already mentioned above, the revelations of the Holy Qur'an commenced in this month. The epoch-making 'Battle of Badr' and the 'Conquest of Mecca' also took place during the holy month of Ramazan.
